Core Studio
The full studio experience
Where foundational skills become a musical voice. Core Studio is where everything comes together — individual sessions, community, and support that doesn't wait for the next class.
Where Core Studio fits
Every family's path into Core Studio looks a little different, and that's exactly the point.
Coming from Preschool
Preschool is a playful first step for our youngest beginners (ages 3–5) — a weekly individual class with a parent present. When your child is ready for foundational piano skills, Little Keys is the next step — and Core Studio is where that foundation grows into something bigger.
Coming from Little Keys
Little Keys is foundational piano with a heavy emphasis on notation reading and key navigation — the building blocks every pianist needs. Core Studio builds on that foundation: it's everything else. Repertoire, musical voice, collaboration, theory in context, and the community that turns practice into belonging. When your child has those foundations in place and is ready for more, Core Studio is the natural next chapter.
Ready to jump all in
If your child already has some piano experience or you simply know you want the full experience from the start, you can begin in Core Studio directly. We'll meet your child where she is and build from there — no prerequisites, no auditions, no "readiness" tests.
Why this works differently
Not better teachers or harder working kids — just a model that fits how real learning actually happens.
Learning doesn't stop when the call ends
In a traditional weekly lesson, there's class day — and then six days of silence. Most of the real progress happens in the small moments between: trying the tricky part again, messing around with a melody, rewatching a video and finally clicking. Core Studio keeps the conversation going all month long through personalized video exchange, so support is there when your child actually needs it.
Built for how neurodivergent kids actually learn
Traditional lessons ask kids to sit still, follow one path, and keep up. Core Studio does it differently — consistently, on your child's own timeline, with support that meets them where they are. Some kids need to watch a video three times. Some need to practice in five-minute bursts. That's not a problem to fix; it's how learning works here.
Community, not just classes
When kids make music together, they start developing their own musical language as part of something larger than themselves. Core Studio includes a monthly group class so your child learns alongside peers, shares progress, and builds real connections. The goal isn't just better practice at home; it's belonging to a musical community where they feel seen and supported.
Flexibility that fits your life
One weekly slot fighting against sports, activities, and everything else is what makes traditional lessons hard. Core Studio gives you two individual sessions a month you self-schedule through the end of the quarter, plus a monthly group class you pick from options two months out. Music fits around your life — not the other way around.
