A Note for Current Families

From weekly classes to a studio membership

Here's what's changed, why we made the shift, and what it means for your child.

Why we're changing

For the past few years, our studio has run on a simple idea: one class per week, and we'll take it from there. This has worked well for many years! But as we've grown and as I've watched how your kids actually learn between sessions, I've noticed a few things that could improve.

Most of the real progress doesn't happen during the 30 minutes we're on screen together. It happens in the small moments between: the time they sit down just to try the tricky part again, the morning they mess around with a melody, the evening they rewatch a video and finally click. The weekly class model, by design, puts a wall around that kind of learning. It says, "this is the time, and that is the gap."

So, we're removing the wall! Instead of one class per week with six days of silence in between, your child now has a membership: two individual 45-minute sessions each month plus a weekly video exchange that keeps the conversation going all month long. Feedback doesn't wait for the next class day. Learning doesn't stop when the call ends.

Beyond individual sessions, we're leaning into community. Both tiers now include monthly group classes, giving your child a chance to learn alongside peers, share progress, and build real connections with other young musicians. That collaboration matters: when kids make music together, they start developing their own musical language as part of something larger than themselves. The goal isn't just better practice at home; it's belonging to a musical community where they feel seen, supported, and inspired by the kids around them.

This shift isn't about doing more. It's about doing it differently, in a way that actually fits how neurodivergent kids learn best: consistently, on their own timeline, with support that meets them where they are.
